Personal Statement
My goal is to provide the highest quality compassionate care to all children in the intensive care unit. I want to listen to patients and their families and work together with them toward shared goals. With my training background in pediatric neurology and critical care, I understand the importance of taking a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients in the ICU and strive to implement this collaborative approach to patient care in the pediatric neurointensive care unit. I am particularly interested in incorporating multimodal neuromonitoring and neuroprotective strategies in the care of children with neurologic disease to help optimize brain recovery and improve outcomes for patients.
