Personal Statement

Jacob Junco, PhD is a senior staff scientist in the laboratory of Karen Rabin, MD, PhD. Dr. Junco’s main interests involve novel mouse models of Down syndrome and non-Down syndrome B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which he is using to identify more effective therapies. He is also interested in pro-leukemic interactions between T-cell ALL cells and non-leukemic cells, as potential targets to enhance the effects of chemotherapy.
