Research interests
I am trying to understand how the human body arises from a single cell. I believe that a coherent, comprehensive descriptive account of prenatal human development is a necessary prerequisite, or at least accompaniment, to genetic and biochemical studies, and I hope to contribute to such an account by producing and studying serial-section reconstructions of human embryos.
