Get to know Ashley Michelle Butler, PhD
Dr. Butler's research centers on how aspects of the health care system, and children's social and family environments contribute to mental and physical health outcomes of populations who experience disparities in health. Dr. Butler's research aims to translate research findings that identify contributors to pediatric health disparities into interventions that can be integrated within community-based primary care settings. Dr. Butler is particularly interested in developing intervention components that are delivered by peer leaders.
