Get to know Ana M. Ugueto, PhD, ABPP
Dr. Ugueto is a board-certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety and suicidality. She utilizes evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, to help patients overcome emotional and behavioral difficulties and lead a fulfilling life.
Dr. Ugueto is a frequent presenter at conferences and meetings in her field and is active in the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and the American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. In addition to her clinical duties, she maintains an active research agenda and collaborates with experts in the field at national and international universities. Her research interests include suicidality in adolescents, dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments, and factor analyses of the effectiveness of psychological treatments for youth mental health.

I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children and families in a caring and compassionate environment. With all of my patients, I strive to personalize treatments to their individual needs, culture and personal histories to help them achieve their goals and live their best lives.
