About
Timesha Edwards is an experienced physician assistant for Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center. Timesha has been treating a variety of pediatric conditions for over 5 years. She currently treats general hematology patients with a focus in sickle cell anemia. She has been passionate about sickle cell since losing a family member to the disease and realizing the lack of knowledge in this area of medicine. In 2018, she was excited to contribute to this population when she received a call stating she was a match to become a stem cell donor for a patient that coincidentally had sickle cell anemia.
Her experience spans adult and pediatric acute/urgent care, covid testing, vaccinations, sports physicals, asthma management, well child exams, paps, birth control, and STD testing.
