About
As a pediatric pathologist, I strive to provide timely and accurate diagnostic services for our pediatric patients as well as our maternal/fetal patient population. In this vein, I also value being in close communication with my clinical colleagues regarding care provided by pathology on behalf of the patients we serve.
Clinical Interests:
My clinical responsibilities cover a wide range of disorders within both pediatric pathology and perinatal/placental/obstetric pathology.
Research Interests:
My principal research focus has long been in the arena of unexpected untoward outcomes of pregnancy and their relationship to placental pathology, particularly in the third gestational trimester. As a related secondary interest, I am also interested in mechanisms of recurrent pregnancy loss as reflected in placental pathology. I have also has extensive experience with fetal anomalies, syndromic conditions, and with maternal obstetric disorders that predispose to complications of pregnancy.
