About

Dr. Peter R. Ermis has been a Baylor College of Medicine faculty member since 2014 after completing his combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals and his combined adult and pediatric cardiology fellowships at the Texas Heart Institute and Texas Children's Hospital. He has served as the Medical Director for the Adult Congenital Heart Program since 2019 helping to lead the program through expansion and the opening of the one-of-a-kind dedicated adult congenital heart unit in 2020. He has published on clinical outcomes in adult congenital heart disease, including aspects of imaging, interventional procedures, advanced heart failure, cardiac obstetrics and electrophysiology. His clinical interests and administrative goals involve finding novel solutions related to the care of adult congenital heart disease patients.

He is a native Houstonian and an avid Houston Astros and Rice baseball fan.
