About

Morgan McCarver, MPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. She helps support the needs of a high volume service. Morgan is primarily involved with the care of scoliosis and spine patients throughout every aspect of their care. You may find Morgan at initial or follow up clinic visits, assisting Dr. Frank Gerow in the operating room, or providing care in the inpatient setting postoperatively.  She also manages fractures in the pediatric population at her independent return fracture clinics.

Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University in 2012. After graduating from Harding University’s PA program in 2015, she gained further experience in pediatric care prior to joining the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2017. She maintains an active PA license with the Texas Medical Board and national certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
