Michael White is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in pediatric surgery and metabolic health. He is passionate about providing compassionate, family-centered care and takes the time to ensure that patients and families fully understand their diagnoses and treatment plans. Michael emphasizes education and shared decision-making, tailoring care to meet each child’s unique medical needs.
In addition to his clinical practice, Michael serves as the Assistant Director of Ambulatory Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital, where he oversees operations across multiple surgical specialties and works to expand access to high-quality pediatric surgical care. Prior to joining Texas Children’s, Michael spent 17 years as an intelligence analyst and physician assistant in the U.S. Air Force, serving on active duty, guard, and reserve components.
