About

Ms. Garner is a pediatric nurse practitioner with the Texas Children’s Liver Center who cares for infants and children with liver transplants and a variety of liver diseases including biliary atresia, idiopathic neonatal hepatitis, progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC), Alagille syndrome, fatty liver disease and numerous other rare liver disorders.

As a clinician, her goal is to ensure that patients and their families are at the center of each medical decision. She seeks to provide the best care for her patients by fostering the total well-being of a child by providing empathy, compassion and ensuring mutual trust. Ms. Garner is also co-investigator in numerous research trials in the areas of biliary atresia, NAFLD/NASH, Cholestatic liver disease and pediatric liver transplant.
