Personal Statement
It is my personal responsibility to provide care that is compassionate, innovative, scientifically based, uses cutting edge technology and is delivered using a partnership model in which all integral participants, including family, contribute to restoring the health of every child.
Clinical Interests:
1.) Delivery of adequate nutrition to the critical ill child with congenital heart disease
2.) Necrotizing enterocolitis in children with congenital heart disease
Research Interests:
1.) Quality Improvement
2.) Unplanned Extubations
3.) Nutritional support of the critically ill child with congenital heart disease
4.) Development of early diagnostic modalities for necrotizing enterocolitis in children with congenital heart disease, specifically those with ductal dependent systemic blood flow
