Personal Statement
Bailey Wilcox is a Surgical Hospitalist Physician Assistant who provides patient-centered care at Texas Children’s. With an educational background in community health education, she strives to ensure that families understand the complexities of their child's health condition and that they feel empowered to participate in decision making.
From Ms. Bailey:
My favorite part of my job in the ER is taking the time with scared or confused patients and families to explain the specific of the medical situation and how I can help. The physical relief I see on the faces of parents makes it all worth it to me.
Outside of work I enjoy long-distance running, international travel, cooking and walking my dog Cashew.
