Pediatric psychology education and training for health care professionals
The Division of Pediatric Psychology at Baylor College of Medicine provides education and training for the next generation of health care professionals. Our programs have received approval and accreditation from the American Psychological Association and the Texas Board of Social Work Examiners. We offer:
Predoctoral training through the psychology internship program
Postdoctoral training through fellowships in clinical child psychology and pediatric neuropsychology
Continuing education program for practicing psychologists and social workers
Refer your patients for inpatient and outpatient pediatric psychology services
Our licensed psychologists partner with referring providers to provide assessment and treatment for children, teens and young adults who need specialized psychological services. We offer one-time consultations, short-term behavioral therapy and long-term counseling and therapy for youth and families.
We provide inpatient care for youth experiencing acute or chronic physical illnesses and those without physical illnesses who need brief, targeted outpatient services. Refer a patient online.
