Make a Difference

The Promise Campaign will expand our care to more children, and offer comfort to the people who love them.

Our multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and treatment of genetically-inherited disordersis is provided by a team of specialists

Texas Children’s Neurofibromatosis Clinic provides follow-up of individual patients and families with a diagnosis of:

  • neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1)
  • neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF-2)
  • tuberous sclerosis
  • von Hippel-Lindau

A multidisciplinary approach is provided by a team of geneticists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, neurosurgeons and otolaryngologists. Patients are followed from the initial diagnosis through adulthood with an attempt to integrate the care of these multi-system genetic diseases with the patient, their family and personal physician.

If you or your child has not been formally diagnosed with one of these conditions, you need to first schedule an appointment in our genetics clinic.
