Program Benefits

Exclusive Access

You will receive priority access to appointments with reduced wait times for both routine and urgent visits. Extended appointment slots will ensure comprehensive consultations for your child. You will have direct communication channels with your child’s pediatrician 24/7 via phone calls, MyChart messages or email for non-urgent inquiries and follow-up care.

Comprehensive Care

Experience a tailored approach to your child’s health with customized wellness plans, preventive care, and early intervention strategies. Regular and detailed health assessments are conducted to monitor growth, development, and overall well-being.

Enhanced Services

Benefit from additional services such as on demand visits, if needed, and a dedicated support team to assist with any specific needs or questions. Virtual consultations are offered for certain appointments, allowing for remote care and follow-up without the need for travel. A virtual care box is included in your family’s membership to make virtual visits even smoother!

Dedicated Care Team

A dedicated support team will be available to assist with scheduling, billing, and any inquiries related to the concierge program. You will receive regular updates on your child’s health status, upcoming appointments, and any relevant health information through secure communication channels.

When I first moved to Houston at the age of 8, I was initially a patient at Pediatric Medical Group. After briefly leaving Texas to pursue my undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Brown University, I returned back to my home state to attend McGovern Medical School and completed my residency training at Texas Children’s Hospital. Rejoining Texas Children’s Pediatrics PMG after graduation, this time as a pediatrician, felt like a full-circle moment for me. With such a deep-rooted connection with Texas Children’s, I am filled with pride and gratitude to give back to a place that has given me so much.

I’m excited to announce the commencement of concierge medicine at Texas Children’s Pediatrics. This new department will allow us to provide more personalized care to our patients and their families. Concierge medicine focuses on fostering strong relationships and ensuring that each child receives the attention and tailored care they deserve. With this new initiative, we aim to create a more accessible and thorough healthcare experience. Families will benefit from extensive appointment times, direct communication with their pediatrician, and a comprehensive approach to health that encompasses not just physical well-being but emotional and developmental needs as well.

At Texas Children’s, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care, and this concierge model will enable us to further enhance our services. In addition to English, I am proud to speak Cantonese Chinese and Spanish, which helps me connect closer to the diverse culture of Texas. I am looking forward to working closely with families, actively listening to their concerns, and partnering with them on their children’s health journeys. Together, we can build a healthier future for the next generation!

Membership Structure Enrollment Process

To learn more about our program, please call our concierge medicine team at 832-528-5670, or email us below to schedule a virtual or in-person introductory consultation

An initial consultation with the care team will be completed to review the program in detail and address any questions.

Membership fees start at $250/month, and are based on the number of children enrolled in the program.

Membership fees can be paid annually or through convenient monthly payments. Families may choose to withdraw from program with 30 days written notice.

Technology Integration

  • Electronic Health Records (EHR): Advanced EHR systems are used to maintain up-to-date and accurate health records, ensuring seamless information sharing and continuity of care. Child’s chart accessible across the Texas Children’s system
  • MyChart Patient Portal: A secure online portal allows families to access health records, schedule appointments, and communicate directly with your pediatrician
  • TCP Advice App: App includes symptom triage checker, parent advice library, and other health tools

Billing and Financials

  • Transparent Pricing: Routine well and sick visits with concierge medicine provider will be covered under the monthly membership fee, and will not be billed to patient’s insurance.
  • Ancillary Services/Vaccine Administration: Additional services such as diagnostic testing, referrals to specialists, and vaccines will be billed through the patient’s insurance or self-pay processes.
  • Flexible Payment Options: Various payment options are available, including monthly or annual billing, to accommodate different financial preferences.
  • FSA Eligible for Reimbursement: Monthly membership fees are not covered under insurance, but can be reimbursed through your healthcare flexible spending account (FSA).
