Ambassadors Activities and Opportunities
Each community has its own unique schedule of events, and all Ambassadors are welcome to attend Ambassadors events in any location they choose.
Ambassadors On Call
Ambassadors On Call events feature renowned health experts and question-and-answer sessions with leading scientists and researchers who provide valuable information about current medical topics and offer insights into Texas Children’s innovative approaches to children’s and women’s health. Throughout the year, these events also feature behind-the-scenes tours in our hospitals. As an Ambassador, you will learn about the exciting things happening at Texas Children’s every day.
Family Fun Day

This annual “party with a purpose” in Houston and Austin is fun for the whole family! The day is filled with unique activities, incredible food and the opportunity to meet new friends of all ages.
To teach the next generation about philanthropy, the price of admission is one donated item for Texas Children's patients.
Ambassadors Holiday Party

Oh what fun it is to celebrate! Ambassadors come together at the end of the year to toast the holiday season and their impact on Texas Children’s patients. This special evening event is hosted at unique venues in each city.
Kits for Kids
Image
Ambassadors and their children are invited to come together to build seasonal activity kits for Texas Children’s Child Life programs. This is an opportunity for parents, grandparents or caretakers to share their philanthropic spirit with their children with a hands-on project. To kick off these events, we discuss how the kits will be used and the importance of Child Life at Texas Children’s.

Ambassadors can receive assistance in meeting their families’ health care needs, including referrals to primary care pediatricians, clinics, and specialists and assistance with scheduling outpatient clinic appointments.
The Insider
Image
Ambassadors receive a monthly communication called The Insider to ensure they are up to date on hospital news and Ambassadors happenings. This is delivered at the beginning of each month via email.
