  • Identify patients with disordered eating and apply appropriate diagnoses
  • Counsel new onset eating disorder families while they await specialty care
  • Determine when to refer an eating disorder patient to higher level of care or inpatient admission
  • Promote weight neutral heath care to prevent disordered eating in teens
