Personal Statement
Having spent my career at Baylor College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals, I am committed to patient care. I help individuals understand the complexities of genetic inheritance and how this affects the chance for genetic and genomic conditions in their future children. I facilitate decision making, coordinate genetic testing results and interpret this information. I partner with patients to make a plan-of-care, and I provide emotional support and resources so that they feel empowered during pregnancy.
Clinical Interests: prenatal and preconception genetic counseling, screening, and testing; genetic causes of maternal heart disease
Research Interests: reproductive genetic testing and decision-making, genetic causes of stillbirth
