Personal Statement

My philosophy of care is to treat every infant in my care the same way I would want someone to treat my own child, with respect and with a caring hand.  This includes treating the parents the way I would want to be treated.  My clinical focus is on infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernias, pulmonary hypertension, and congenital anomalies requiring surgery.  These infants are some of the most critical infants in the unit and it takes working with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care.
