Trung Chanh Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen's research interest is focused on coagulopathy in critically ill children. He is currently under the mentorship of Dr. Miguel Cruz in the Thrombosis Research Section at the Baylor College of Medicine. In the lab, Dr. Nguyen is investigating whether ADAMTS-13 and von Willebrand factors play a pathophysiologic role in thrombocytopenia-associated multiple organ failure (TAMOF). In addition, he is collaborating with a pilot multicenter study to investigate whether plasma therapies could reverse TAMOF.
