Personal Statement
I am a board-certified neonatal therapist and have worked at Texas Children’s Heart Center for seven years, primarily in the cardiac intensive care unit.
Clinical Interests: I have a special interest in neurodevelopmental care, infants with congenital heart disease, heart/lung transplantation, and rehabilitation with mechanical support (ECMO, VAD).
Research Interests: impact of neurodevelopmental care and skin-to-skin on hemodynamic parameters; impact of positioning on respiratory mechanics; impact of early mobility on long-term developmental and functional outcomes
