Personal Statement
I believe in an all-inclusive culture of patient and family centered care. Focusing on the needs of the patient and how those needs can best be met. I believe every member of the team brings something of value to the conversation and together we can have excellent outcomes for our patients and their families as they transition through these difficult times in their life.
My interest is in improving communication between providers and the families/patients we serve, as well as improving communication between services and multidisciplinary teams of providers caring for the same family.
I serve as a trainer for the Break through communication initiative for improved communication, and as instructor and debriefer for Simulation.
