Rebecca Guinn, MPAS, PA-C

Personal Statement

Rebecca Guinn is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in triaging, assessing and treating children with a variety of surgical emergencies. She appropriately applies evidence-based clinical guidelines to each unique patient encounter. Rebecca is particularly interested and well trained in bedside procedural skills in the ER and inpatient setting.

From Ms. Guinn:

Actively cultivating an emotionally safe and comfortable space for my patients is deeply important to me. I value genuine connection that I achieve through active listening with both patients and families. I take the time with each family to explain diagnostic results and the appropriate plan of care so that everyone has a thorough understanding of their visit.

In my free time, I enjoy frequent travel, practicing photography, trying new vegan recipes, biking through Hermann Park, exploring the diverse Houston food scene, hot yoga, reading fantasy novels and thrifting for the perfect flower vase.
