Dr. Wheeler is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and a licensed Psychologist at Texas Children’s Hospital. She specializes in pediatric psychology, with an interest in ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders. Dr. Wheeler provides treatment for children, adolescents, and families navigating a wide range of ADHD, behavioral, and associated symptoms in daily life. She additionally specializes in parent management training and helping patients manage anxiety and mood difficulties as they relate to ADHD and disruptive symptom management. Her clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based treatments that target the family system, support relationships and coping skills, and strengthen overall functioning.

I am dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care to promote greater quality of life for my patients and their families. I strongly believe in an evidence-based, collaborative approach to best meet the needs of each family. I am passionate about supporting a child’s self-efficacy and unique strengths while also enhancing their ability to effectively manage behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental challenges.
