Dr. Sur is the site investigator for the Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (CPCCRN) research based on the study protocol for "Critical Pertussis in U.S. Children: Severe Morbidity, Sequelae, and Mortality; A Prospective Cohort Study," which is a multicenter, epidemiologic study among pediatric patients with confirmed or probable pertussis admitted to the intensive care unit.
In addition, she is the principal administrator for the Rapid Response System at Texas Children's Hospital and its ancillary sites, responsible for overseeing the program, quality measurement and improvement initiatives, and education.
