Personal Statement
Lisa R. Gonzalez is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in the neonate and pediatric population. She is also a Certified Neonatal Therapist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Educator in Infant Massage.
Lisa has more than 20 years of experience as a medical based SLP. She has worked across various medical settings including acute care and outpatient within the pediatric and adult population. At TCH, she specializes in medically fragile infants and children with complex needs across the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Her passion is serving medically complex infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit focusing on family centered care, promoting positive neurodevelopmental care, and successful feeding outcomes.
Her philosophy of care is implementing evidence-based practice, supporting the patient and family dyad, and transdisciplinary care.
