Personal Statement
Childhood is a time of immense physical, intellectual, and emotional growth. The developmental trajectory established in childhood is critical in defining lifelong wellness. My goal as a Pediatric Neurologist is to do all that I can to maximize the development of my patients. This goal is achieved though diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive interventions. As a physician scientist, I aim to implement cutting edge research tools to develop novel approaches to addressing the developmental deficits associated with brain injury in early life.
Clinical Interests
Neonatal neurology, developmental neurology, posterior fossa/cerebellar injury, neuroimmunology
