Personal Statement
Jane is a pediatric clinical specialist who joined Texas Children’s’ Hospital The Woodlands in April of 2017. Jane has 20 years of experience working in pediatric settings. Jane currently provides therapy services in the Texas Children’s The Woodlands SOAR High Risk Neonatal Follow up clinic where she is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that evaluates and treats infants discharged from the NICU. She also helps support the NICUs at the Woodlands Houston Methodist and CHI St Luke’s hospitals. Update please
Jane is a licensed practitioner of the Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment (NOMAS). She is also certified in the Neonatal Touch and Massage Therapy NTMTC, and the Assisting Hand Assessment HAI. Update please
Jane was born and raised in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and American Sign Language. She has a passion for helping children and their families, as she herself has a daughter with special needs. Jane strongly believes in family centered care and is constantly seeking to improve her clinical skills to provide evidenced based therapy for all her clients.
