Irene García-Benavides, Ed D., CCC-SLP, is a board-certified Speech Language Pathologist with more than 16 years clinical experience providing services for bilingual Spanish-English patients with different communication challenges. She is also an American Sign Language interpreter.
Irene believes parents are crucial for the development of hearing, speech and language skills. Her work includes guiding parents to enable their children to develop comprehensive and expressive language skills, which is the key to eliminating communication barriers.
Clinical Interests: enabling deaf and hard of hearing children to develop language, promoting bilingualism
