Get to know Holly A. Shippey, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC
Holly Shippey has worked in the Texas Children's Hospital Neonatal ICU/Newborn Center since she graduated from nursing school in 1978. She has worked in a variety of roles including management and currently as a nurse practitioner.
Her interests have included thermoregulation and the use of simulation in preparing nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors for their role in the NICU. The progress she has seen in the care of neonates over her years in the newborn center have been amazing. She continues to learn and grow with each day she spends caring for these special patients and their families.
