Dr. Lee defines "occupation" in occupational therapy as "anything that 'occupies' your time". She believes that every lived experience is unique; therefore, she works with clients and families to create an individualized approach to support what the client wants, needs, and is expected to do to maximize participation in these meaningful occupations. She builds therapeutic relationships that empower clients and their families to advocate for their needs and take ownership of their care.
