Personal Statement
As the Program Coordinator for the Trauma and Grief Center, I manage many of the administrative and support duties that sustain our center. These duties span across many of the grants that sponsor our work at the Trauma and Grief Center. In addition to the administrative and operational components of my position, I contribute to the research and publications produced by the Trauma and Grief Center. My research interests center on a developmental psychopathology framework for understanding the impact of trauma exposure on the development and maintenance of adolescent psychopathology. Through my research I hope to elucidate risk and protective factors that affect the relationships between trauma, depression, suicidality, and stress disorders. I enjoy working with bereaved and trauma exposed youth and emerging adults and continue to develop my clinical skills by working with the youth seen in the Trauma and Grief Clinic.
