Diana is a licensed physical therapist and Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist (PCS) in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Texas Children’s Hospital. Diana has been practicing for over 8 years and is involved in treating a variety of pediatric conditions. Diana is skilled in gross developmental delay, torticollis, acute outpatient rehabilitation and pulmonary conditions. She is part of the physical therapy team in the Neurosurgery Department’s Plagiocephaly Clinic where she helps educate families on importance of repositioning, tummy time and purposeful play. She is also part of a multi-disciplinary lung transplant team where she works closely with patients with pre- and post-rehabilitation needs.
Personal Statement
As a practicing pediatric physical therapist, my goal is to create a fun, interactive and educational session. I enjoy guiding my patient and their families throughout the developmental process as well as educating parents on how to incorporate this in everyday settings. I strive to make the treatment sessions meaningful for my patient so they can obtain skills and independently interact with their friends, family in home and school settings.
