Personal Statement
Dr. Oosterhoff is a developmental psychologist specializing in promoting positive youth development among children and adolescents, particularly those who have experienced adversity or trauma. His research interests include understanding how both positive and negative community contexts and schools can impact health and well-being, and how to engage youth within their communities to promote positive change and resilience. He also has a strong interest in advanced statistical modeling and serves as the program evaluator for the Trauma and Grief Center.
