Personal Statement
My mission is to provide excellent patient care to children of all backgrounds and to excel in family-centered care, education, research and innovation, with a commitment to service and quality that enhance the health and well-being of children needing emergency care.
I am also passionate about simulation-based medical education. My research interest in particular is understanding and characterizing retention of learned skills in pediatric resuscitation, specifically in RCDP as a simulation method that differs from the traditional method of post-event debriefing.
Throughout my career, I would like to commit to advancing simulation-based research for the purpose of enhancing medical education and ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
