Dr. Mary Shapiro is a faculty member at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center, and her clinical time is dedicated at the Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. She is an Academy of Communication in Healthcare certified trainer and has been involved with the Texas Children’s Breakthrough Communication Initiative since its inception in 2016. She also has specific interests in leukemia/lymphoma oncologic diagnoses as well as medical education and career resilience for faculty, fellows, residents and medical students.
