About

Ilana Patino is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.  She graduated with highest honors as a member of the Pi Alpha Physician Assistant National Honor Society.  Ilana has a passion for working with pediatric patients and is dedicated to treating her patients with the utmost compassion and care. She feels extremely proud and honored to be a part of the Texas Children’s Neurosurgery team.  Ilana has a strong clinical interest in treating neurosurgical patients with movement disorders, epilepsy and craniosynostosis, although she finds all areas of pediatric neurosurgery interesting. Ilana currently serves as the PA Fellowship Clerkship Director for the Department of Neurosurgery.
