I believe in providing an evidence-based and family-centered approach to all patients. I am one of four in-patient advanced practice providers to the largest surgical service at Texas Children’s Hospital. My areas of interest include surgical airway reconstruction, pediatric airway disorders, tracheostomy, and patient/parent education with a particular focus on quality improvement. I am a part of the Tracheostomy Care Process Team in which we aim to reduce the rate of emergency room visits and readmission rates of patients with tracheostomies as well as collect and utilize meaningful data to improve and manage patient care across the continuum.
