About

Dr. Paysse's research interests are in the areas of refractive surgery for certain forms of amblyopia and retinopathy of prematurity. She is Principal Investigator and/or contributing investigator on numerous NIH-funded projects, including the Amblyopia Treatment Studies, Early Treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity Study, theCongenital Esotropia Observational Study and the Intermittent Exotropic Studies. She is the Principal Investigator on a Thrasher Research-funded study on photorefractive keratectomy for children with certain forms of severe refractive error associated with amblyopia.
