During his 6-year-long wait in Houston to receive his second heart transplant, Jhett had to find a hobby to stay busy and take his mind off of the long wait. Away from his mom and sister back home in Oklahoma, Jhett and his dad discovered that golf was something they could enjoy together – and that Jhett would be allowed to do with his medical restrictions.
