Dr. Candelaria O’Farrell Honored with Prestigious Feigin Fellow Award

Texas Children’s Cancer & Hematology Center proudly announced that Dr. Candelaria O’Farrell has been named the 2025 recipient of the Drs. Ralph and Judith Feigin Medical Staff Most Excellent Fellow Award. This distinction is among the highest honors for fellows at Texas Children’s Hospital, recognizing individuals who exemplify the Feigins’ legacy as visionary educators and advocates for pediatric care.

Dr. O’Farrell has demonstrated exceptional leadership, clinical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to improving children’s health. Her contributions have made a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients and reflect the mission of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program. Program leadership also acknowledged the importance of mentorship in shaping future leaders, highlighting the guidance of Dr. Youngna Lee-Kim, fellowship director.
