Dr. Austin Brown Named Director of Epidemiology and Population Sciences Program

Dr. Austin Brown PhD, MPH has been appointed Director of the Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center Epidemiology and Population Sciences Program. Join us in congratulating him on this important new role!

Dr. Brown received his MPH and PhD degrees in Epidemiology from UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. He joined Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in 2014 and has since made exceptional contributions to research, patient care and education. As Research Co-Director of the Long-Term Survivor Program at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center, Dr. Brown's research focuses on the molecular epidemiology of cancer therapy effects. His work is funded by National Cancer Institute and CPRIT, and he holds national leadership roles through the Children’s Oncology Group. We are proud to have him leading our epidemiology efforts!
