Personal Statement
Tina Phan, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Care Coordinator in Texas Children’s Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, is part of an interdisciplinary team caring for patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and other conditions. Her role includes coordinating patient care with a goal-oriented, family-centered approach.
A highly experienced nurse with a long professional history of caring for children and adults with acute and long-term disabilities, Tina is adept at ensuring families’ needs are met and guiding them through a safe and successful transition from the hospital to home.
From Ms. Phan:
My passion is to assist patients experiencing traumatic and acquired brain injuries. My reward is to witness patients’ improve, reach their greatest level of independence and achieve their discharge goals.
