Personal Statement
I believe in treating children as I would my own, with compassion, respecting their space and making the experience the least intimidating. When the parents trust me with the care of their child, the onus to deliver the highest quality of care in a timely manner lies with me. I believe in partnering with the parents in formulating an effective treatment plan for their child, giving them an opportunity to voice their concerns while I can integrate their knowledge of their child with my scientific knowledge and experience.
Clinical Interests:
Pediatric hearing loss and treatment including BAHA and cochlear implants, chronic ear diseases, general pediatric otolaryngology including otitis media, tonsillitis, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, chronic and recurrent sinusitis, airway disorders, masses of the head and neck, drooling, dysphagia, patients with complex disorders and tracheotomy care and medical teaching.
