Jennifer Allen, LMSW

Personal Statement

As a Licensed Master Social Worker in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Texas Children’s, Jennifer is focused on patient and family empowerment and advocacy. She has more than a decade of experience in the physical rehabilitation setting and aims to meet all needs that help facilitate proper health care and patient satisfaction.  This includes helping to maximize the functional independence of patients, improving their comfort and well-being, and providing strategies and resources to help them successfully navigate a return to home, school and community.

From Ms. Allen:

My objective is to partner with patients and families to identify the best possible resources that will help them successfully cope with hospitalization and disability.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I’m big on traveling. Every year my family chooses a different state to visit. I love watching movies and trying new restaurants. I also enjoy volunteering at church and in the community.
