Irene García-Benavides, EdD, CCC-SLP, is a board-certified Speech Language Pathologist with more than 18 years clinical experience providing services for bilingual Spanish-English patients with different communication challenges. Irene also has experience with patients who are deaf and hard of hearing and has published research studies regarding this population.
Personal Statement
I believe parents are crucial for the development of hearing, speech and language skills. My work includes guiding parents to enable their children to develop comprehensive and expressive language skills, which is the key to eliminating communication barriers.
