Elaine Tan, MS, CCC-SLP

Personal Statement

Elaine is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who graduated from the University of North Texas in 2016. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a pediatric private practice and outpatient setting to provide care to children with a variety of speech and language disorders. Elaine’s clinical interests include serving pediatric populations in the areas of receptive and expressive language disorder, articulation and phonological disorder, autism spectrum disorder, augmentative and alternative communication, and early language development. She believes it is imperative to utilize a multidisciplinary approach and collaborate with the family to maximize the child’s speech and language progress. Her passion is to help empower children by facilitating functional communication and improving their quality of life.
