Get to know Ashley Goad, MPAS, PA-C, CWS
Ashley Goad is a Physician Assistant in the Division of Wound Care at Texas Children’s Hospital. She is one of several Advanced Practice Providers in the Division of Wound Care.
She began her career in wound care in 2019 at Shriner’s Hospitals for Children Galveston where she helped manage critically large pediatric burn patients. In late 2020, she began her career at Texas Children's Hospital with the Surgical Hospitalist Department for 3 years where she managed the ever-increasing demands of high-volume surgical services such as General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Hand Surgery, Urology and Wound Care. Since mid-2023 Ashley has been a part of the Wound Care Team. She has obtained her board certification in wound care as a “Certified Wound Specialist” from the American Board of Wound Management in November 2022. Her interests include burns and wound management. Ashley aims to compassionately serve and care for her patients and their families through utilizing evidence-based medicine and patient education to achieve better health outcomes.
