Amy Young, MA, CCC-SLP, CAS

Personal Statement

Amy is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist in practice since 1996. Prior to coming to Texas Children’s, Amy worked in school, pediatric outpatient, and home health settings. For 14 years, Amy served on Autism and Early Childhood Assessment teams in the schools. She has experience working with a wide variety of communication needs but has a special interest in working with young children with autism spectrum disorders and speech sound disorders. She is a Certified Autism Specialist with extensive post-graduate training in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
